SoCal Woman Charged With Murdering Wife With Samurai Sword

POMONA, Calif.—A woman was charged July 26 with fatally stabbing her wife with a Samurai sword and attacking her wife’s mother in San Dimas.
Weichien Huang, 44, is set to be arraigned July 29 in a Pomona courtroom on one count each of murder and attempted murder, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The charges include allegations that she used a deadly weapon and inflicted great bodily injury on an elderly victim, according to court records.
